How do I change the configuration of PHP on the server?

Important: The PHP configuration can only be modified when you have set your own local version of PHP. If your account is set to use the Native (Default) PHP version, you will not be able to change the configuration until you have set a custom version of PHP to use. To begin using a custom version of PHP, please see the following knowledge base article. Once configured for custom PHP you may follow the rest of this KB article;

1. Go back to "Select a PHP version" within cPanel;

2. Select "Switch to PHP settings" towards the top right of this page;

3. Click on or otherwise change a value on this page to automatically update your PHP settings.
