Setting up SPF Records

SPF records can increase the reliability of mail being sent from your accounts, and can also prevent forged e-mails being sent out from your address. To enable or check SPF is enabled, please perform the following steps:

1. Login to cPanel

Under the 'Mail' section, click on 'Email Authentication':

If SPF is Disabled, click the 'Enable' button to enable it:

Under 'Additional IP blocks for your domains (IP4)' please check that the server IP address is listed and matches the main server IP listed:

Optional: If you have a shared, reseller or semi-dedicated hosting account with us then under 'Include List (INCLUDE)' please ensure that '' (without the quotes) is listed. If it is not, please click the 'Add' button and add this address:

Please allow up to 24 hours for DNS propagation to fully complete. Please also be advised that the steps above will only benefit customers who are using our name servers. If your nameservers are held elsewhere, you will need to setup and create your own SPF records accordingly.
