Yes, we do.
Many resellers like to create their own custom packages, which often include more space or bandwidth than their current package with us provides. Because of this, we allow resellers the ability to oversell their packages to clients. However, we have very strict monitoring in place to ensure that whilst resellers can offer more than their package, they can not actually exceed their packages limitations without needing to take action.
For example, if you purchase our Standard Reseller hosting package, it comes with 25GB disk space. You may want to sell hosting to your clients but offer them 50GB of disk space instead. You are free to do this, and your clients will see everything as 50GB server side when logging in, but once your client(s) has/have consumed more than 25GB disk space in total, we will contact you to let you know that you need to upgrade your account or reduce your disk space consumption.
There are two scenarios in which further action will be required by a reseller:
- If your main site and client sites (combined) have exceeded the disk usage of your main account, you will be unable to create additional client sites. You will need to upgrade your main account or free up some disk space in order to create new accounts.
- If your main site and client sites (combined) have exceeded the disk usage of your main account, you will be contacted and advised that you will need to upgrade to the next available package or otherwise free some disk space. If you are unable to free any disk space, you will need to upgrade to the next available package as soon as possible. Failure to do so will result in a suspension of your reseller account (and all subsequent client sites) until you have upgraded accordingly.
