Issues with Mail application on OS X El Capitan

We are aware that customers running the Mail application on OS X El Capitan may be experiencing issues when attempting to send or receive e-mail. This is due to the Mail application not supporting the TLS 1.2 protocol which is now required for SSL connections across POP3, IMAP and SMTP services. You can read more about this issue in the following knowledgebase article.

We strongly urge all affected customers to upgrade their Operating System to at least Sierra, which we can confirm supports TLS 1.2. If upgrading your Operating System is not possible, you will instead need to use a different mail client such as Mozilla Thunderbird - which supports TLS 1.2.

ThisWebHost apologises for any inconvenience that this may cause, but in order to ensure a secure and stable environment, connections must now be using TLS 1.2 or above.
