Oh cool, I made it. In case anyone wants to vote for me, I made “I bought hosting and all I got was This* shirt”. :)

I voted for ur entry sam :D This is insane! They would even reply to a non-customer like me within 24 hours!

And now the THISSEPTEMBER discount coupon! I can’t wait more for my current hosting plan to expire, already started recommending THIS to friends :)

Dear This* Web Host, you are the best!! I am a recent user, got lucky with the THISSEPTEMBER coupon, and enjoying every minute of it.

Take this as my testimonial for your services and show it to anyone who has doubts in choosing you as a host.

My experience in installing WordPress says your servers are atleast faster than DreamHost.

I Can’t praise enough for the amazingly fast email support you have got, and your community participation over Twitter (though time doesn’t allow me to use twitter much), transparent notification of every detail (like yesterday’s own DNS server news) is much welcome.

And though this is not absolutely necessary at the moment, may be i can someday just use Putty from Windows to login to SSH and do some basic CLI stuff (i have very dynamic ip, using other dns system is a hassle just to do some rm/mv job in the terminal). I understand you would rather have a secure server than give everyone ssh & make it an open door (i’m not at all a linux/server expert so don’t know the complexity/challenges involved to enable ssh for everyone)

Stay rather small to mid-size, stay nice & don’t change a thing. And bring us the t-shirt soon.

    With love from India :)

Definitely a fan of yours Sam, voted. I also found ‘I go down, but THIS* doesn’t’ hilarious but I just couldn’t bring myself to wear it.

@Deb: Thanks for your kind words! :) All hosting accounts come with SSH access by default. All that’s needed is for you to use the “Manage SSH Access” feature in your client area and add your IP address to the system. Within 15 minutes our systems will reload, and you should be able to gain entry :)

This is just awsome. I’ll have to do a write up on it.
